ANDREW CROMMELIN

DIRECTOR

Andrew is the Director of Crommelin Recruitment and has over 20 years of recruitment experience in the Australian market from entry-level roles to General Manager and CEO placements. Andrew has gained his expertise in both internal and external recruitment positions. Prior to founding Crommelin Recruitment he spent seven years in a global Human Resources Consulting firm working as a Practice Leader and as a member of the Australia and New Zealand Senior Leadership Team.

He has also worked as a Human Resources Advisor in the Telecommunications sector, as a Hiring Manager in Hospitality and acted as an HR Board Member for an organisation in the Financial Services sector.

Andrew has worked as a member of numerous project teams focused on best practice recruitment processes. He has written and delivered training materials for Recruitment Consultants and has also written a ‘How To’ Recruitment Handbook designed to assist companies with running effective recruitment campaigns.

Andrew brings energy, creativity and the ability to deal with a wide variety of different people when approaching an assignment. He has tertiary qualifications in Arts and Laws from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Certificate in Management and is accredited in Project Management, Train the Trainer and as a Facilitator for Situational Leadership.

From a recruitment perspective Andrew has a focus on the Sales & Marketing, Operations and Office Support disciplines across all industry sectors, providing both permanent and contracting solutions. He takes a diligent approach utilising research, networking and systems to ensure positive outcomes.

ANNA MANALO

RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

Anna is employed as a Recruitment Coordinator and Researcher with Crommelin Recruitment. She has over 15 years of HR, Recruitment and Business Administration experience.

In the past five years she founded and ran her own travel company. Prior to this Anna worked for 11 years in HR and Recruitment Assistant roles across a range of different Departments with one of the world’s largest liquified natural gas companies in the Middle East. She also has valuable experience gained working as an Administrative Assistant for an organisation supplying staff to a US Army base.

Anna is qualified in Business Administration from AMA College and handles all administrative and research-based tasks for Crommelin Recruitment. Anna is well-organised, professional and proactive in her approach.

WILL BIRD

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

Will works as a Recruitment Consultant with Crommelin Recruitment. Will started his career as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, part of the time assisting the graduate recruitment process internally, before taking a position as a Commercial Manager at Treasury Wine Estates. An opportunity to work as a CFO in a small internet start-up came up before he had a stint at a global recruitment firm and as a commercial lender at NAB and GE. Since 2011, Will has worked in his own private consultancy winning mandates mainly in the financial services and travel industries. He has led teams across four countries, developed junior staff and delivered a budget with 80 bankers under his charge, so knows how to get results in competitive markets with many moving parts. He now enjoys looking after and connecting great people to fantastic companies alongside the team at Crommelin Recruitment.

In a voluntary capacity, Will has been an Advisory Board Member of Ronald McDonald House Parkville, a co-organising member for a successful annual charity lunch “Mayday,” and been on various sporting club committees with Treasurer/Membership responsibilities. Now approaching a 20 year career, he has worked across many industries both private and public, both locally and abroad. Will has undertaken a variety of roles and uses the knowledge he has gained through his varied work experience to assist both candidates and clients.

Will is tertiary qualified in Business Accountancy (Hons) RMIT, Chartered Accountant ICAA and holds a Grad Dip in Financial Planning at Kaplan. He is an advocate for continuous learning and has undertaken many internal/informal sales and leadership courses throughout his career.

Outside of work and family, Will enjoys travelling, golf, hiking and discovering unusual wine varietals. He is a keen member of many clubs and hopes that one day the Demons might win that elusive flag!
