This Melbourne-based professional association exists to support people and organisations working in the field of evaluation. The group has around 900 members and aims to strengthen practice in the field and provide standards, learning and networking opportunities for the industry. An exciting 12-month contract is now available for a Membership and Events Officer, based out of the Carlton office and from home in a hybrid work model.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for membership administration and services including new memberships, renewals and updating and maintaining the database. You will also coordinate a range of events, such as virtual and face to face professional learning sessions, workshops, seminars, the AGM and the annual conference. Your role will also include providing editing assistance for the industry journal and basic updates to the website.

Well-organised, customer focused and with strong administrative skills, you will have prior experience running events of different sizes. You will have good PC skills, be a competent writer and will have the ability to work as part of a small team and independently as needed. Whilst previous exposure to a member organisation would be well-regarded, it will be your attention to detail, positive attitude and proactive approach that will set you apart.
