This successful multinational organisation designs, engineers, delivers and supports intelligent technology systems for large scale infrastructure projects. The group’s offerings have a wide range of applications in areas such as traffic, tunnels, tolls, roads, public transport, ticketing and sustainability. As the Australian operation experiences ongoing growth, an opportunity has become available for a proactive In-House Lawyer with infrastructure experience to join the team based in the St Kilda office.
Reporting to the Australian CEO you will draft contractual letters and NDAs and review NDAs supplied by partner organisations. You will work on and negotiate contracts for large scale infrastructure projects, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also involve liaising with and briefing external Lawyers, ensuring company compliance with relevant legislation and providing support to Business Unit Managers.
Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Laws and a current Practising Certificate, you will possess three to five years years (or more) of PQE experience focused on the infrastructure sector, either in an In-House role or in Private Practice. You will be professional, dynamic, diligent and detail-focused with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to projects that have a material impact upon the world we live in. Comfortable undertaking some interstate travel as part of a role, you are now looking to join an exciting, innovative company in a position where there is scope for development and growth.
