Operating for over 10 years this highly regarded Australian organisation specialises in delivering a targeted suite of educational products and services to consumer and business customers. The group is committed to offering solutions that will add significant value to people, and in turn to their workplaces. As the business continues to grow, there is now an opportunity for a dedicated, strategic Human Resources Manager to join the vibrant team based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Reporting to the CEO you will work in a strategic generalist role, overseeing an HR Assistant and taking ownership for and driving the HR function. Your role will cover talent and culture, workforce and succession planning, performance management, staff development and retention programs. You will work closely with Business Unit Managers, empowering them to manage HR functions within their teams, such as hiring and enhancing performance.

Qualified in HR or a related discipline, you will be an experienced practitioner with the ability to think strategically and oversee operations. You will have the ability to build rapport with and positively influence key stakeholders and are now looking for a role that you can make your own, working with a great team. The business runs a hybrid model with a minimum expectation of two days in the office – part time work is also an option.
