This well-regarded, family-owned business has a history spanning almost 100 years of assisting families in their greatest times of need. The group personalises its funerals and is flexible in its approach and pricing structures. The business is now seeking a full time Funeral Arranger/Conductor to join the professional, friendly team, based in either Preston or St Albans.

As a person with empathy, understanding and also the ability to work and think commercially, you will oversee all aspects of arranging funerals. You will liaise and plan with families, arrange transportation, book venues, conduct the service and assist with all associated administrative tasks.

Whilst previous industry experience would be beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. More so, it will be your people skills, flexible nature and your ability to listen and communicate at a very high level that will set you apart. You will possess maturity and will be able to handle distressing situations in a calm and sensitive manner. Your experience may have been gained in another people focused industry such as event management or customer service. You are now looking to join a professional business with a long history if helping local communities and families.
