This busy organisation works processing building claims on behalf of a number of Australia’s largest insurance companies. Due to large current volumes of work, the group is seeking several Customer Contact Officers to join the team in Oakleigh South, working initially in six-month contracts, office hours Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Team Leader you will, takes calls from insurance companies and insured homeowners. You will set up new job files on the system and keep customers informed about the progress of their jobs. You will also update information on job orders on the system and do basic reports using Microsoft Word.

Whilst experience in an office-based customer service role is ideal, if you have strong written and verbal communication skills, are able to work quickly on a PC and have the ability to deal with customers and sort out their issues as required, you will be well-equipped to deliver this role. Front of house Hospitality staff looking for office hours have traditionally performed well in these assignments.
