This successful, growing importer of world class truck-mounted vacuum and high-pressure water jetting equipment creates long-term value by providing ‘cutting edge’ technology to its customers. The group is now seeking a dedicated BDM to call on existing customers and generate new business in a territory covering Sydney’s Northern Suburbs and regional NSW to the North of Sydney.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, and working in conjunction with the Southern NSW BDM, you will handle a range of enquiries, providing information on equipment, answering questions, following up and generally building rapport with key operators. You will also contact prospective customers, set appointments and attend client offices and job sites to generate leads and sales for the business. In addition, you will provide information on promotions, product updates and industry news to assist customers in growing their product knowledge.  Your role will also require you to utilise the company CRM system to ensure there are up to date records of meetings and job progress.

Ideally with previous experience in equipment sales which could include plumbing, pumps, heavy machinery, civil construction or the waste transport vehicles industry, you will be a self-motivated, reliable and personable candidate who has the discipline to work autonomously effectively.
