This well-established, successful energy consultancy offers energy management services for business customers, achieving significant energy cost reductions. The group also implements and manages embedded network solutions for large shopping centres and commercial building complexes, providing energy savings for tenants and income for landlords. As the group enjoys a period of sustained growth, an opportunity has become available for a customer-focused Accounts Officer to join the team based in the Hawthorn East office, with hybrid work available.
Reporting to the Accounts Team Supervisor and working closely with the Billing and Customer Service teams you will handle a variety of customer requests such as payment enquiries, establishing payment plans, taking payments over the phone, organising refunds and setting up direct debits. You will also consistently update and maintain the Tenant Billing system with current customer data. Some AP duties may also form part of this role in the future.
Presenting with prior experience in an Accounts position, you will be an excellent communicator who is able to deal with tenants and clients in a clear and professional manner. You will be good with systems, detail-oriented and will take pride in delivering accurate work. Some prior experience with MYOB would be beneficial, as would a background in dealing with customers.
